Masahiro Hirano

I am an assistant professor at Institute of Industrial Science, The University of Tokyo. I received my B.S., M.S., Ph.D. from The University of Tokyo in 2013, 2015, 2018, respectively. I was a recipient of Research Fellowship for Young Scientists (DC1) from Japan Society for the Promotion of Science. Until 2020, I worked as a Project Assistant Professor at The University of Tokyo.

My research interests lie in computer vision, computer graphics and robotics. Recently, I focus on developing techniques for intelligent autonomous driving using high-speed vision.
